In celebration of Black History Month, the Chuck Burch Scholarship Fund (CBSF) would like to recognize Courtney Saylor (DJ Big C), Skip Hubbard and Zina Thompson of the No Limit Skaters (Host coordinators) Venay & Ron Chapman, Marcus Scott (Volunteers) and Denzell Newsome & the Staff of Southern Skates for hosting the Greek and Professional organizations Night of Skating for Scholarships 2024 where we awarded $2,000 in Scholarships to 4 students, raffled off a TV and presented night 2 of the DFW Skaters Showcase.
The Scholarship Awardees were Asia Smith, Zinyalis Smith-Morales, Yasmine Chew and Braylon Dotsy-Hawkins. They are the reason why the Scholarship Fund does what it does.
The Scholarship Fund is thankful for all the Individuals, Groups, Volunteers, Vendor and Sponsors that made contributions as part of the Village that makes a difference in “Education for the Next Generation.”
