In celebration of Black History Month, the Chuck Burch Scholarship Fund (CBSF) would like to recognize the Sunday contributors to Skating for Scholarships. Darryl Jordan (DJ Slave) the Dallas Wood Rydrz, (Host coordinators) Jane Turner, Marcus Scott, & Ny’isa Matlock (Volunteers) and Forum Roller World for hosted the “Salute to the OGs and Old School” of Skating for Scholarships 2024 where we awarded $5,000 in Scholarships to 6 students, raffled off another TV and presented the Finale of the DFW Skaters Showcase.
Scholarship Awardees Ny’isa Matlock, Sydney Williams, Kiara Powell, Averen Brown, Lyric Lyons, and Alfonzo Andre (DJ Zo) Mornes Jr. are the reasons why the Scholarship Fund does what it does.
